Will i lose the joint custody right if i go to live in France? can she claim full custody?

I am divorce and i have joint custody with my ex of my kids (kids stay with me during 3 months of summer vacation and during school year they are with their mother). i have been paying child support since day one of divorce and i'll be paying it until our kids turn 18 years old.
i am planning to move to France and live there. i am wondering if i move to France i'll lose my right of joint custody to my ex?. Also, can she claim full custody of kids?
