When does child support end in Illinois? My child is 18 and still a full time high school student. I look online but find basic information. I type Illinios child support laws and still get basic. Was the law act, number, whateve you want to call it? help! Will it continue until he graduates high school? |

I should clarify that this is what my attorney told me. I am not sure what would happen if they dropped out of school. But I do know that the person paying child support does not have to keep paying once they turn 19. It depends on what the judge says if he will make the non-custodial parent pay anything for college. It more than likely will not be half, according to my attorney.
