Virginia Beach, VA - Seeking custody/child support lawyer who specializes in Fathers!

I have been divorced for nearly 2 years and my ex wife has custody of my two children. She lived 1000 miles away until recently so the only visitation spelled out in the decree is that I get them Spring Break, 3 weeks in the summer, and we rotate Thanksgiving/Christmas.

She has now moved to the same city and I have become the built in after school care and then some. While I am happy to spend time with my children, it is taking a toll on other aspects of my life.

I work from home so it is getting to be a bit much picking them up off the bus 2-3 days a week. Due to the ex's work schedule the children are spending 3-4 nights a week at my house, as well as weekends.

The schedule is determined by the ex's work schedule (12 hour rotating nurse shifts/3 days a week) so I have been willing to roll with it until she got settled. However there is a constant struggle for money for one thing or another.

My child support is paid via allotment therefore it is never late or unpaid. However given the amount of time they are spending with me, number of meals which I am providing and the amount which I am contributing above and beyond my child support I am nearly broke.

The ex feels entitled to everything! I should not be surprised but this I realize.

My question - we agreed to no legal changes until 6 months of residency so I want to be prepared. What type of information, documentation, receipts, etc will help my case?
