She'll Only let me see my son 3 hours a week what can i do to see him more? I am married and filed for a divorce last year and tried to work things out with my soon be ex (while things were in court) canceled it 30 days before the final court date. should have done that. She also took my 75% of my tax return ...Now I have moved from Reno to Idaho because my son is here. Before i moved here i was unemployed and couldn't not afford the trip to come see him for 2 months. Now that i have no court papers with visitation she will only let me see him once a week for three hours. What rights do I have to see him more? I just started a new job and already re-adjusted my support via Idaho child support guidelines... But what can do being broke from the move and just paid my last attorney off and need to know what i can do while i save up for the next attorney. |

"before the final court date. should have done that." i meant shouldn't have done that.. but to I would like to be able to re-file for full custody now. Seeing that she hasn't had a job since she was three months pregnant, Been on welfare and ONLY living off my child support. WHICH I PAY A LOT IN CASH so she could stay on welfare and government assessed living housing. (still paid the min. in money orders to be to track it for court ) She trying to be a stay at home mom and have no husband and new job!

Well if the mother has filed for child support in Idaho, then there is no reason why you cannot file for visitations. You may of made the wrong decition when you dropped the divorce, you only helped your wife to file for child support. If there is no divorce and custody and visitation enforced though the court, your wife can stop you from seeing the child(ren) until you file for visitation, if you think you are going to end up getting a divorce, then I would sujest you file for divorce and ask for joint custody. If you have no funds at this time, you can call legal aide they go by your income, and you can find them in the blue pages of your phone book under Govrnment.
