Resource when the State of RI Child Support Services has "misplaced" my money The State of RI CSS has misplaced my child support & alimony from mid-June and payments that are due to me randomly show up when they show up. My divorce was supposed to be final Aug 12 but b/c of this issue, it cannot be. It is costing me additional legal fees and I am having difficulty paying my bills (they have my $2,500 now, which is better than when they had my $4,500). CSS has not returned my calls since mid-July. There is no direct phone number to call for my agent. The operator line rings without being answered. There is no email provided. What can I do to resolve this without getting burned for being a squeeky-wheel? |

Do not be concerned about being as you say a squeeky wheel, it is their responiabitly to send you your child support, if you ask me ou have been very patient, now if they are not answering their phone you need to file a petition with the court to get this resolved, the courts will enforce their oblagation to send you your money.
