Inheritance My e-wife and i have been divorced for nearly 20 years. I am deeply in arrears of child support. My wages are being garnished. She gets my income tax return and my stimulus check. Now she is taking me to court for the full amount. I stand to inherit soon about what I owe her. Can she take my inheritance? |

I do not believe the state can touch any life insurance or Inheritance,however it might be worth your time to consult with an attorney, she can always try to file a claim against you,but it probary would not hold up in court. There are so many attorneys that give free consutation so I would sujest you call one and get some legal advise.
