In Nebraska the amount of any health Insurance that is being paid should of been included in the calculation for child support. If is was not included and you are the non-custodial parent you might want to file a petition asking the court to include it, this could make a difference in the amount that you are paying for child support. When doing this be ure that you have either your tax return and or the last four pay stubs showing the amount that you are paying monthly in health insurance. I do not believe you need to consult with a lawyer to file this petition, however I always sujest that you do, and if you do not have an attorney then you can contact legal aide, they go by your income and you can get their number out of the blue pages of your phone book.
