As of right now no it wouldnt have an effect. Because you say he is illegal but as for the law he hasnt been proven to be illegal yet. It will have an effect if he was deported because he doesnt need to live by U.S. laws. So if he is illegal he is not a citizen of our country and does not need to follow rules. If he lives as a citizen he will need to follow rules of citizen
