When you first was unable to work you could of contacted the child support services and told them you were not able to work, they could of adjusted your child support up to 35%, you should of also filed a petition with the court to have your child support dismissed or lowered, if you did not do any of these things and the child support erarages have added up the court will not dismiss thoses erarages, the mother can contact child support services and have the eararages if she will, as long as she has never recieved any state benifits, If you recieve SSD your daughter should be able to draw off you if you have paid in enought, if you are recieving SSD and you have your daughter and you cannot get SSD for her then you can apply for state benefits, and the mother may have to pay child support, considering you owe so much in back erarages the mother if ordered to pay may ask the court to deduct what she is to pay from what you owe to get your erarages caught up, a lawyer can give you additional information on this.
