Dad is in jail and I want to sue for child support

I collected DES support for my youngest daughter when i moved to colorado from Az. For some reason her dad wasnt ordered to pay child support in az, but when i got the TANF in Co I assumed Co would go after him. My kids are now over the age of 18 and I have now moved back to Az. What can I do to get child support from their dad? I cant afford an attorney..HE IS IN JAIL RIGHT NOW FOR 2 EXTREME DUI's..Is now a GOOD time to try and get the law on my side to get past due child support? Also, He and I have a daughter who is permanently disabled and gets SSI but its not enough to barely meet her needs. In our divorce decree I didnt ask for monetary help, is it too late to get that from him too? By the way, my ex husband thought he could evade paying child support by buying a new house...and a new car...AND he will still have his management job at Fry's food when he gets out of jail...so its not like he cant afford child support! PLEASE HELP!
