Am I entitled child support for my 2 children

I am a mother of 2 children who are 4 and 2, and my boyfriend and i were together off and on but i just recently found out that he was married to a military woman who has a 4 year old son. even though only one of my children is biologically his he helped raise and support my son who was 6 months at the time we got together. I want to know if i i can get support for both my children since he is all my son knows. he also avoids seeing the kids and it had been a whole year and a half before he actually saw his daughter. i do not want him to have custody of my daughter because she does not know him and i know he would just be doing it to spite me. I just want to know what kind of child support i would be looking at he just made chief in the navy and he is only giving me 500 now a month and that is not enough for daycare and activities and food. also when child support is calculated is the spouses pay added into that?

You can file for child support for the child that is his,but not for the other child. If he is paying you $500.00 now you are lucky that is quite a bit for one child. His wife's incom if she works cannot be deemed for her husbands child support. However if you work your incom is considered in the amount you may get from the father. He is not going to be able to get custody of your child how ever if he is on the childs birth certificate he can file for visitations. If he is not on the childs birth certificate then he has no legal rights until he takes a DNA test to prove parenty. If he is not the father any child support payments could be stopped if he file a motion with the court showing proof he is not the father.
